Raytheon Technologies is a company that takes on some of the world’s hardest problems. Right now that means using our resources to help in the response to the global outbreak of COVID-19.
We are using our manufacturing capacity, as well as our deep expertise in areas including engineering, logistics and finance to carry out initiatives that serve our communities, deliver on our commitments to our customers and protect our employees.
Hiring and onboarding during COVID-19
Additionally, we’ve significantly changed our hiring, internship and onboarding programs:
- We are using virtual interviewing much more broadly than before, as well as virtual career fairs. Some of our businesses are also hosting full virtual interview days, consisting of a virtual company overview by an RTX executive, followed by multiple virtual interviews with several hiring teams and approximately 125 candidates attending. We are also preparing for what is shaping up to be a mostly virtual Fall Campus season.
- Most or our new hires are onboarded virtually.
- Internships for non-essential roles will be virtual and we are adjusting programming accordingly.
- Our signature rotational Leadership Development Programs have also made adjustments and will hold virtual events such as orientation and graduation.
